You’ll send your CandidPro doctor scans of your teeth every 7-14 days using our ProMonitoring app, ensuring your treatment stays on track.
Funny thing about teeth: they're always on the move. An improper bite can cause destruction over time, so even if it's not obvious they're out of alignment now, there are plenty of early signs that things are shifting.

Clear aligners are removable, nearly invisible plastic trays that move teeth gradually over a series of stages. Treatment starts with dental records used to create a 3D model and plan small, step-by-step movements; each aligner is worn about 22 hours per day for the prescribed period before switching to the next.

CandidPro aligners work like other clear aligners—they use clear trays to shift teeth over time—but CandidPro emphasizes two differences: aligner fit designed to better “grasp” teeth (potentially fewer attachments) and FDA-cleared remote monitoring as a standard part of every case to help us see your progress remotely.
Your dentist can use CandidPro to treat a wide range of mild to complex cases. Some complex cases may require “adjuncts” like attachments or elastics, and every case is reviewed by CandidPro orthodontists who work directly with your dentist.

Around 75% of Americans have clinically misaligned teeth, putting them at risk for long-term oral health issues (cavities, gingivitis, tooth damage) and whole-body health issues, including cardiovascular diseases. CandidPro can correct this misalignment and also help you achieve a smile you’ll want to share far and wide.
CandidPro candidacy is determined by your dental provider, typically after assessing your bite/occlusion and taking diagnostic records. If you proceed, your provider will also review expected timing and cost options with you.
Attachments are small tooth-colored composite bumps placed on certain teeth to help aligners move teeth more effectively in specific directions. They’re removed after treatment, and CandidPro generally requires fewer attachments than some other systems.
CandidPro aligners are made with ZenduraFLX, a medical-grade polymer that is rated as one of the most effective clear aligner materials on the market when used as intended. ZenduraFLX is BPA-free and unlikely to cause allergic reactions in most patients.

After your provider submits your case, they’ll work with a US-based, licensed orthodontist to create a treatment plan just for you. Our manufacturing team will then create your aligners. While you wait for your aligners, you can download ProMonitoring™ app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

The time it takes for CandidPro to bring your smile into perfect alignment varies based on your unique biology and wear compliance: mild cases may take a few months, while complex cases may take a year or more. Your provider will be able to give you an estimate of total treatment time once they’ve developed your treatment plan. 90% of CandidPro cases finish as planned — with one or less refinements2.

Yes—treatment starts in person so your doctor can evaluate your bite and capture necessary records. After that, remote monitoring via the ProMonitoring app supports progress checks, though your doctor may still request periodic in-office visits.
Payment options vary by practice, but many offer financing, and you may be able to use orthodontic insurance benefits and/or HSA/FSA funds.

Most patients are instructed to wear aligners 22 hours per day, removing them for meals, snacks, and hot beverages. Brush and floss before putting aligners back in.

The ProMonitoring app notifies you when it’s time to change aligners, but you’ll first submit photos so your provider can review progress before you advance.
Many patients notice changes within a few weeks, and you can view progress over time in the ProMonitoring app.

ProMonitoring is a mobile app that guides you through taking teeth photos using the included ScanBox Pro and submits them for review so your provider can confirm treatment is tracking to plan.

Most orthodontic treatments require retainers afterward. Your provider may prescribe a retention device (including CandidPro's PermaForm retainers), and consistent retainer wear helps prevent teeth from shifting back.
For treatment questions, contact your provider. For non-clinical support, you can contact support via email through the ProMonitoring app.
