You’ve landed the job, and the excitement is real. But you might be wondering: What happens in that gap between “yes” and your first day? At Candid, those days are anything but quiet. Our People team is hard at work creating a seamless onboarding journey to help you feel informed, equipped, and part of the team before you even walk through the (virtual) door.
Here’s what you can expect from our People team to keep the momentum going from the minute you sign to the moment you start.
Onboarding with “Care Deeply” at Heart
Every step of our process reflects Candid’s core value to “Care Deeply.” From thoughtfully timed emails to well-planned calendar invites, we focus on making your first days feel seamless and welcoming. Our goal is simple: gather everything we need to set you up in our systems while giving you the information you need to feel confident and excited on day one.
A Tailored Plan
Within hours of signing your offer letter, you’ll receive a personalized email outlining what to expect next. We even use the details you shared with us to introduce you to the entire Candid team, ensuring you get the warm welcome you deserve.
Before your start date, your manager and a member of our People team will create a custom onboarding plan that outlines the tools, resources, and key connections you’ll need to thrive. You’ll get this plan a few days before your start date so you can arrive feeling prepared and confident.
Tech Prep Made Simple
We’ll work with our IT team to make sure your equipment arrives before your first day. No last-minute scrambling. They’ll reach out to help you log in, troubleshoot, and get comfortable with your new device so you can hit the ground running.
Your Ongoing People Partner
While our most frequent check-ins happen during your first week, our support never stops. Whether it’s a quick Slack message or an email, we’re only a ping away whenever you need us. Even when it’s months or years down the road.
Supporting you the way our aligners support stable teeth movement,
Candid People team
