This November, we gathered a group of dentists and team members from over twenty CandidPro practices in Orlando for our first-ever CandidCon event. Over two jam-packed days, attendees experienced a comprehensive CE program, experiential learning opportunities, and personalized mentorship from our team while building community.
Read on to learn what our providers experienced at this magical event.
Planning for success
In the months leading up to CandidCon, our team was hard at work planning every detail of this event. We selected Orlando for our location and themed the event accordingly. Our Account Executives then recruited a handful of providers who they thought would benefit most from CandidCon. Most importantly, our team pulled together our Candid Academy Faculty to create an engaging curriculum that would help participants meet their goals.
“For this first CandidCon, our goal was to work with providers who were already comfortable with aligners, but were eager to grow,” says Jennifer Pinder, Director of Practice Development.
Preparing for impact
Once participants were registered, our Practice Enablement team and Account Executives hosted regular, virtual pre-work events for each practice. These meetings were crucial to building rapport, setting realistic goals, and tailoring each practice's experience to their needs.
“We wanted to get everyone excited about CandidCon,” says Angela Gray, Practice Development Lead. “These sessions helped us get to know each other and understand exactly what each practice was looking to achieve.”
Welcoming our guests
Our team arrived in Orlando early to prepare the meeting space for CandidCon and welcome our guests at the opening reception. Everything came together just in time to kick off the event with a casual reception where participants were able to meet each other for the first time in person.

“I love engaging with the practices in my territory individually,” says Kendra Curry, Senior Account Executive. “But watching them connect with each other and find common ground as a community was on another level.”
Let’s get down to business
The first full day of CandidCon started with a working breakfast and a welcoming message from our Co-founder and CEO, Nick Greenfield, and Director of Practice Development, Jennifer Pinder. From there, we dove straight into an insightful overview of the evolution of clear aligner technology with Chief Dental Officer, Brian Gray, DDS.

The day continued with sessions covering case selection, optimizing for profitability, workflow efficiencies, and smart ways to scale hosted by some of our most engaging faculty members, including Dr. Tarun “T-Bone” Agarwal and Meredith Jones from 3D Dentists, and Matthew Standridge, DDS, FAGD.
“Anytime there’s an amazing group of people who are in it to help dentistry be better, I want to be a part of it,” says Dr. Agarwal.
Spritz and socialize
After a long day of learning, CandidCon attendees took a well-deserved break before reconvening for a Smile Spritzer, featuring tropical cocktails and mocktails presented by our sponsors. Though the CE portion of the day had come to an end, attendees continued to build connection and community with our team, our faculty, and each other.
“It’s been an opportunity to make relationships with people that I feel like we can leverage,” says Dr. John Pastorek of Monarch Valley Dental. “Especially being a tighter-knit community. I gravitate towards that.”

“The community has been absolutely amazing here,” says Hunter Ackerman, Account Executive. “I think they’re going to leave here feeling very impactful.”
Ending with the future in mind
On the second and final day of CandidCon, attendees covered marketing best practices from our partners at DDS Marketing before shifting focus to life after CandidCon. After all, applying what they learned back home is why they came to Orlando in the first place.
To help them lock in what they learned and put it into practice, Angela Gray and Dr. Standridge took the stage for an engaging review session.
Finally, doctors and team members met with their mentors—Dr. Agarwal and Meredith Jones—to complete their action plans for after the event.
“They really tailored it to our needs,” says Dr. Kimberly Sherry of Sherry Dental. “I’m looking forward to using what I learned in my practice, continuing to work with the CandidPro team, and returning to CandidCon next year to take that growth even further.”

CandidCon goes on and on
Since CandidCon, attendees have been hard at work implementing their new skills in their practices and working with our mentors and our team to ensure they maintain momentum.
Jennifer and Angela continue to meet with CandidCon practices regularly for check-ins and ongoing office hours to help participating dentists and their teams continue their growth while working diligently towards their goals. And Dr. Agarwal and Meredith are keeping in touch with everyone via the 3D Dentists online community and monthly mentorship meetings.
“You never want to say goodbye to the friends you make at an event like this,” says Jennifer. “With CandidCon, we don’t have to say goodbye—we say ‘see you next week.’ I love that we have the opportunity to continue working with this group and seeing their results take shape.”
Bet on an even better CandidCon in 2026
We’re delighted to bring engaging learning experiences like CandidCon to our providers and are looking forward to expanding these opportunities in the future. While our inaugural group of CandidCon attendees continues their journey to clear aligner mastery, our team is already planning next year’s event.
We’re planning on even more advanced clinical topics, more speakers, and more tailored learning opportunities for doctors and team members. If you’re a CandidPro provider who wants to grow your practice, ask your Account Executive for more information.

Thank you to everyone who made CandidCon 2025 a smashing success. And special thanks to our sponsors: Ramp, 3D Dentists, Stran Promotional Solutions, 3Shape, DDS Marketing, Sunbit, and our presenting sponsor, Patterson Dental.
